Night at the Races
Friday, April 30, 2010.
Place your bets for the odds on favorite charity event in Lake County, the Western Reserve Junior Service League Night at the Races. The mint juleps will flow for this triple-crown evening that will benefit Lake, Geauga, and Ashtabula non-profit organizations. This “mare-raising” event will be Friday, April 30th at Pine Ridge Country Club from 6:00 – 11:00pm. Tickets are $45 each and include an open bar, gourmet hors d’oeuvres and dessert stations.
Throughout the evening you can wager on one of the ten action-packed, video-taped horse races of the night. Side boards and a Chinese auction will also grab your attention.
Don your Kentucky Derby attire and be entered into a prize drawing. And also ladies wearing a Kentucky Derby hat will be entered into a separate prize drawing.
If you want to be more involved in the action, you can sponsor a race for $300 or a horse for $50 with naming rights. Mine That Bird is still open.
