Personal Growth

Accountablity

Shared Accomplishments

Cherished Friendships

High Standards

Welcome to the Western Reserve Junior Service League’s Web Site.  It is my privilege and honor to serve as the president of this organization, which was founded in 1962 by a dynamic group of twenty three Lake County women who wanted to make a difference in their community.

The League reaches out to all women of all races, religions and national origins who demonstrate an interest in a commitment to volunteerism.  We volunteer for a variety of non-profit organizations through out Lake, Geauga and Ashtabula counties.   Through our fundraising projects yearly, we work to raise money for our Grant Funding Program. To date, this Funding Program totals $887,147, which we have given back to our community.

WRJSL promotes enrichment of education, cultural and charitable service organizations of Lake and surroundings communities by providing dedicated volunteers, financial support and proven leadership.  We value commitment, honor tradition, foster personal growth, expect accountability, share accomplishments, cherish friendships and proudly hold high standards in all we do.

Membership in the WRJSL offers an opportunity to build meaningful relationships with others who share a desire to give back to our community.  Through the talents of our diverse membership we will support and enrich the lives of women, children and families in our community.  Together we have a greater impact than we do individually.
